Orcas Island Skate Park
This is a destination skate park that is just awesome. Over 30,000 square feet of skateboard paradise in the San Juan Islands. You have to take a ferry boat to get there and its a 20 mile drive then. You can catch the ferry in Anacortes, WA.
The park was built by Grindline and legendary film maker Warren Miller helped fund the majority of its cost through his foundation. You might even get lucky and meet him there. Don't desrespect him if he tells you to get your lid on because there is a helmet requirement here.
Once you get there you get a park just made to shred with huge bowl surrouned by an snake run type obstacles. The bowl even has a huge taple top, a death box, and a love seat and pool coping. You can make runs all day and never get bored.
We need pix of this park. If you got some please send to: awesom13@awesome-skateboard.com
