Wasilla Skate Park
A 13,000 square foot concrete style skate park is in Wasilla, Alaska. This park features a 9 foot "spine of death," funbox ledges, and rails, and even a tabletop.
Currently this is the only concrete park in the state. It was built despite Sarah Palin, who was the mayor of Wasilla at the time and kept finding reasons to delay it. Check out this story from one of the kids that helped to get it built:
